Introduction

Trends as a logical sequence are predictable. The cycles are repeating themselves faster and faster to a position where everything is compressed into one big mess. We're in a position where old patterns serve no use. Wherever we search for news, we will find a version of what's already done.

We are left with one option. Stop. That complete stop, will give way for the birth of life.

Reaction

Our natural reaction to the current situation is to seek simplicity. "Effective functionality" will be our top priority in a close future. This is a major trend, affecting all minor. This doesn't mean that all styling will be minimalistic. But the styling will be functional and time saving. Design that saves time will be most important and successful.

To use Microsoft and Apple as an example. Microsoft gives their customers a lot of options and choices to make, their communication is complex and demands a lot of time from the receiver.
Whereas Apple minimize options and choices for their customers. Their communication saves time for the receiver.
